About Mottaket:

Mottaket is an association of 70 professional practitioners from the arts sector, located in Torghallen at Nedre Strandgate 2A in the heart of Ålesund. The artistic expressions range from visual arts, crafts, and performance to theater, literature, and music. The members include individual artists, institutions, and festivals. They have the freedom to utilize the space for experimentation, collaborative projects, production, performances, and exhibitions.
