In 2025, Norwegian Crafts (Norske Kunsthåndverkere, NK) marked 50 years as Norway’s professional organization for craft artists. As part of the anniversary, Møre og Romsdal Art Center is presenting a special exhibition featuring NK members with ties to the region.

Since its founding in 1975, NK has worked to strengthen the rights, visibility, and professional development of craft artists. Over five decades, the organization has built a significant artistic and professional environment through exhibitions, venues, and specialist publications, playing an important role in elevating the position of contemporary craft in Norway.

With this anniversary exhibition, MRK aims to highlight and honor the craft artists of Møre og Romsdal. The exhibition is developed in collaboration with Norwegian Crafts Mid-Norway.
